Marking Menu Items, Modifiers, Sizes, and Variants as 'Sold Out'

Marking Menu Items as Sold Out

 

To mark a menu item as "Sold-Out" through our Admin Panel, follow these steps:

  • Go to admin.nextorder.com

  • Log in to your restaurant account using your credentials (email address and password)

  • Go to 'Menu' > 'Menu Items'

  • Find the item you wish to mark as “Sold Out
  • Click on the "Sold out" button associated with the item you want to indicate as sold out.

  •  Deselect the 'All' button (to mark the whole item as 'Sold-Out')
  • Click "Save"
  • After saving, manually close the tab by clicking the 'X' icon (as it won't close automatically)
  • Refresh the customer website

 

 

 

All done! The 'Bolognese' menu item will now show as “Sold Out” on the website & POS

 

 

Marking specific modifiers/sizes/variants as 'Sold-Out'

To mark a specific size, modifier (i.e. 'Beef' in 'Protein Type') or a variant (Gluten Free) as “Sold-Out” follow below:

🔁 To mark any modifier, size, or variant as unavailable, just follow the same procedure as before and deselect it in the 'Sold Out' section.


1) Example: Setting 'Beef' (as a protein choice) and 'Large' size in 'Masala Curry' to 'Sold-Out' - Click below to view the process ⬇️

  • Click on the "Sold out" button

  • Deselect the 'Large' & 'Beef' options
  • Click "Save"
  • After saving, manually close the tab by clicking the 'X' icon (as it won't close automatically)
  • Refresh the customer website

  • All done!

2) Example: Setting ' Large- Gluten Free' variant in 'Margherita' pizza to 'Sold-Out' - Click below to view the process ⬇️

  • Click on the "Sold out" button

  • Deselect the 'Large-Gluten Free'
  • Click "Save"
  • After saving, manually close the tab by clicking the 'X' icon (as it won't close automatically)
  • Refresh the customer website
