Exploring Pricing Options: Single, Per Order-Type, and Dual Pricing Strategies for your Menu

Welcome to the pricing section of our Online Menu Guide, where we'll cover Next Order's pricing options: single price, price per order type, and different prices for in-store and online orders.

To set or update the price of a menu item, follow these instructions:

  • Log in to your Next Order Admin Panel

 
  • Go to 'Menu' > 'Menu Items'

  • Click on the "Edit" button inside the chosen menu item (existing item and pricing update)
  • Click on the "Add Item" button (configuring price when adding a new item)

  • Go to "Modifiers/Sizes"
  • Update/configure the price
  • Click on 'Save' > Next Step > Go to 'Preview' > Save

 

 

 



Single Price / Price Per Order Type


Next Order enables you to set up your menu with different pricing options. You can choose separate prices for In-Store and Online Ordering or a single price for all order types and delivery platforms

We support the below options for pricing configurations:

 

Single Price – 1 price for In-Store & Online Ordering

Same price for a menu item regardless of whether the customer orders in-store or online.

 

Price Per Order Type – different pricing for Walk-In, Delivery, Pickup & Dine-in

This option adjusts the price based on the type of order:

  • Walk-In

  • Delivery

  • Pickup

  • Dine-In

Order Types

Next Order supports various order types: Walk-In, Delivery, Pickup, and Dine-In. Let's quickly explain how each one works:

  1. Walk-in - refers to customers who visit the restaurant in person and place their orders for takeaway at the counter.

  2. Pickup - refers to customers who call the store directly over the phone or through your online ordering website to place their order for collection.

  3. Delivery - refers to customers who call for a delivery or use your online ordering website to place their order for delivery.

  4. Dine-In - refers to placing an order for customers seated in the restaurant.

🗓️ You can also schedule future deliveries, pickups, and Dine-In table reservations through our website

 

Separate Prices for In-Store & Online Ordering

This option enables you to set different prices for menu items when customers order in person at the restaurant (in-store) and when they order online through the restaurant's website or app.
