This guide outlines the process for integrating your store with DoorDash through the Next Order admin panel. It assumes that you already have a DoorDash merchant account set up. The integration will connect your Next Order admin panel store to the appropriate DoorDash store.
Prerequisites
A DoorDash merchant account
Your menu is configured for third-party pricing (if it's different from your in-store menu), and shifts are set up in Next Order.
Integration Steps
If you have more than one location, in the Next Order admin panel, select the store you want to connect to DoorDash. Otherwise, your store will be selected by default, and you can proceed to the next step.
You can just navigate to the integrations page at https://admin.nextorder.com/restaurants/integrations.
If you don't have an existing DoorDash integration, you'll see a "Connect to DoorDash" button. Click this to start the integration process.
Note: You can contact Next Order support to modify or remove an existing integration.
You'll be redirected to the DoorDash merchant login page. You can log in with your DoorDash merchant account credentials.
After a successful login, you'll be redirected to the integrations page. You'll see a list of stores associated with your DoorDash account and their addresses.
Select the appropriate store to connect with your Next Order account.
The integration process will begin. You'll receive status updates on the integrations page.
You'll see an "Activation Completed" status if everything is in order.
Common Issues
During Login
If you log in with an account that doesn't have the necessary permissions, you'll receive an error message. Accounts with Business, Business Group, Franchise, or Store Manager access can complete the integration process.
Some stores may not be eligible for onboarding and cannot be selected. In such cases, you can contact DoorDash support.
During Integration
MENU_BLOCK Error code: If there's an issue with your menu, you'll see this in the status information on the integrations page. To resolve:
Rectify the error in your menu. The most common issues are missing hours, content, or pricing. For guidance on menu setup, please refer to the NextOrder menu resources.
If you need assistance troubleshooting menu issues, please contact NextOrder support.
Once the menu issue is resolved, click the "Resume Integration" button that appears.
ABANDONED Error code: An integration can be abandoned if, for example, a menu block isn't fixed within 24 hours. To resolve:
