Driver Tracking

Next Order allows a total experience through real-time driver tracking for your restaurant. Not only that this provides a great customer experience, it will also give you the ability to always know where your drivers are.

HOW TO ADD DRIVERS VIA NEXT ORDER BACKEND:

  1. To get started, click HERE to access the ADMIN PANEL.


2. Go to DELIVERY then DRIVERS. Click on + ADD DRIVER on the top right of the screen. 

3. Enter the Driver's details - FIRST NAME, LAST NAME & MOBILE NUMBER.

4. Click on SAVE. 



INSTRUCTIONS FOR DRIVERS TO DOWNLOAD THE APP: 

  1. Install NEXT ORDER DRIVER APP. You can find this in the App Store or Google Play Store.

2. Enter your MOBILE NUMBER. A CONFIRMATION CODE will be sent via SMS. Enter the code onto the code into the app.



HOW THE DRIVER CHANGED THE SHIFT STATUS: 

  1. When the Driver starts their shift, they will need to SWIPE on SLIDE TO START from the  Driver App.

 


2. When the Driver has completed their shift, they will need to SWIPE SLIDE TO END SHIFT. This will mark the shift as CLOSED

.


HOW TO ASSIGN DELIVERIES TO DRIVERS VIA THE POS:

1. ASSIGN Deliveries 

The store can assign deliveries from the POS system. You will need to CLICK on ASSIGN DRIVER. Driver will get a notification that a delivery has been assigned to them.

OPTION #1

 2a. A pop-up will appear for you to SELECT from ALL AVAILABLE DRIVERS. Choose which Driver you want to assign and clock on ASSIGN DELIVERY. Then the driver will be automatically assigned.

OPTION #2 

2b. Drivers can assign deliveries to themselves by inputting the 6 digit ORDER ID. Drivers can also ASSIGN DELIVERIES to themselves but would require DELIVERY CODE.



3. The Driver can view their current ASSIGNED DELIVERIES from the DRIVER APP.  


4. The drivers can start a delivery order once they have collected food from the restaurant. Driver need to interact with the app and start the delivery

5. App will prompt the driver to recheck the order to make sure all the delivery items are added

.


  •  Drivers can TRACK AN ORDER by CLICKING on the NAVIGATE BUTTON.
  •  Drivers also have the CALL OPTION to make a call to the customer. 
  • Driver can also mark the delivery completed from the app once the order is delivered. 

 

6. Drivers can view DELIVERY DETAILS by clicking on VIEW ORDER. This will also show if an order has been PAID or UNPAID (will need to collect money on delivery).

 


IN STORE VIEW: 

  1. Click on In Store from the control panel or click here and enter your authentication code.

2. STORE VIEW will appear as below:
